Get in Touch
Have a question about the Inca Trail that this site didn't answer? We read every email and reply within 1–2 business days. We don't sell tours; we just help you ask the right questions.
How to reach us
The fastest way to get an answer is to use the form below. We process all reader emails through a small editorial inbox that's checked twice daily during Cusco business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. local time, GMT−5).
Common reader questions we answer by email
- "My dates are X — should I book the Classic or the Short Trail?"
- "What's the realistic chance of getting permits for [specific date]?"
- "I'm 55 with mild knee issues — is this trek realistic?"
- "Can you recommend a specific operator for my budget?" (We don't make individual recommendations but we'll help you ask the right questions.)
- "Is my packing list missing anything for [season]?"
- "My friend says cheaper operators are fine — what should I tell them?"
What we don't do
- We don't book trips. We're an information site, not a tour agency. We can't process payments or pull permits.
- We don't make individual operator recommendations by name. Tour quality changes year to year and we can't keep a curated list current. We do publish criteria for choosing operators on our tour operator page.
- We don't take sponsorships or affiliate commissions. Nothing on this site is paid placement. If we mention a product or service, it's because we think it helps readers.
- We don't reply to commercial inquiries from operators or industry professionals — those go to a separate inbox we check infrequently.
Where we are
Our editorial team works between Cusco and the Sacred Valley. We don't operate a public office. Most of our work happens at trail-side over coffee, or in the field doing actual page audits. The contact form above is the best way to reach us.
We answer in English and Spanish.
